    A sea of motorcycles was all that could be seen outside our local VFW Post 7665 in Lake Isabella this weekend. The 2nd annual Veterans River Run took place September 7-8, with their largest turnout ever. The VFW welcomed over 500 people, 300 of which were participants.

Registration is at 7:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $75 per player (four-man team scramble format) and includes carts, awards and barbeque lunch.
