An 18-year-old man is dead and four other young people are in hospital after a barbeque gas cylinder exploded in a car in Blenheim last night.
BRUNSWICK COUNTY -- barbeque, a banjo, and lots of people made for Brunswick County's Democratic Rally Sunday.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 16457 Old Frederick Road, Mt. Airy, will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Featured will be baked goods, gourmet to go, jellies, candies, dried flowers, gift baskets, 2007 Entertainment books and more. There will be a raffle and a silent auction.

Barbeque pros from around the world competed Saturday in Lynchburg for the 18th Annual Jack Daniels International Barbeque Cook-Off. Thousands showed up to see these world class cooks and to get a taste of barbeque, bluegrass even a little polka. Contestants offered cuts of chicken, pork, ribs and beef brisket. A Deerfield Beach man died while en route to the hospital Sunday evening after he was shot during a barbeque, police say.
