THOMASTON ? Mama Nem?s Bistro, the eatery associated with the Alabama Rural Heritage Center, now has a new chef to add to their already experienced staff. Chef Dodd Orten, originally from Greenville, Tenn. but now a resident of Linden, will have his first day with the bistro this week.
"Our heartfelt prayers go out to the family of Bruce Flannagin, who was tragically killed in a wreck on Christmas Eve. Andy installed a new piece of copper pipe at camp and I stopped at Pague and Fegan Hardware to get a plug fitting to close off the end after deer season to keep raccoons from licking the fitting and insects from getting into the pipe over the summer.
