Editor?s note: This column didn?t make it into last week?s Telegram due to space constraints. With Christmas season here, it?s time to dip our sticky, candy-cane encrusted hands into the holiday mailbag and answer important questions sent into us from numerous imaginary readers.
Andy installed a new piece of copper pipe at camp and I stopped at Pague and Fegan Hardware to get a plug fitting to close off the end after deer season to keep raccoons from licking the fitting and insects from getting into the pipe over the summer.
Why are we asking this now?
Not every entertainment event worth talking about falls under art, theater, music, movies or books, and this year something under ?everything else? might be the biggest thing of all.
THOMASTON ? Mama Nem?s Bistro, the eatery associated with the Alabama Rural Heritage Center, now has a new chef to add to their already experienced staff. Chef Dodd Orten, originally from Greenville, Tenn. but now a resident of Linden, will have his first day with the bistro this week.
